Can't believe it took this long for someone to mention Firefly!

Dead Set is worth checking out if you're a fan of zombies killing Big Brother house mates. I'm interested to see how the SyFy tie-in with Defiance is going to turn out - but being SyFy it will probably suck.

Other than that I like the Walking Dead (don't care if you hate it, I just love the fact that the main bad guy is a Scouser).

Justified - Timothy Olyphant as US Marshal in backwater town in Kentucky, full of rednecks and hilarious moments and morons, but somehow still solemn, deep and downright disturbing at the moment, by some magic it feels realistic. Also has probably one of the coolest quotes ever uttered on TV ("Next one's coming faster")

every series is better than the last.

I watch the defiance pilot and it felt like a generic Scify show, it was average not realy good not that bad but the CGI on som parts is so bad its kinda sad and show breaking for me like when they go from CGI driving to inside the car not good. The characters ar not that intresting to me I get the feeling that I have seen the show befor.

Just in case you're not aware, then...

- Defiance S1E01: Already aired
- Falling Skies S3E01 - 09/06/2013
- True Blood S6E01: 16/06/2013
- Under The Dome: 24/06/2013
- Dexter S8E01: 30/06/2013
- News Room S2E01: 14/07/2013

The only one in that list I don't watch is News Room, am eagerly awaiting the rest (and Under The Dome was already on my list, the book was superb).

Have added a bunch more shows to my watch-list, but none of them have dates for their respective pilot episodes, yet, assuming they even get one:

- Believe: another JJ Abrams show, about a girl with special powers protected by a man broken out of prison
- Oxygen: a show about an alien race who become part of a programme to integrate them into society (still unsure about this one, hopefully it's something gritty like V and not something too family-oriented)
- Robot Cop: show set in LA in a futuristic time when cops are partnered with large human-like androids
- Sleepy Hollow: modern-day take on the Ichabod Crane legend, a fight between good & evil
- The Hundred: show about 100 juvenile delinquents released to the surface of a wildly changed Earth, the future of humanity left in their hands
- The Returned: people start mysteriously coming back to life, exactly as they were before they died

Whether any of them will be any good, complete rubbish, or not even broadcast, remains to be seen!
