So I am getting a Wii U after missing out on the Wii completely. What I want to know from Wii owners is what Wii games I should look at getting seeming as I have not played any.

I was always a fan of Mario and Zelda games but not sure which are out on the Wii and which ones are good. I hear the latest zelda was good as it was built for motion play (unlike the first zelda released on Wii and GC)

Any thoughts on what games to get while I wait for more to be released on the WiiU. I am getting the new Mario and ZombieU with the console as well

The latest Super Mario is really good. Also, if you don't suffer from motion sickness Super Mario Galaxy is a must

Wii sports was also great fun, but it's been a couple of years since I booted mine up so I'm pretty out of date when if comes to Wii games tbh
If it BLEEDS we can KILL it!

Eh. Wii sports was a gimmick imo. The Super mario galaxy games were pretty amazing for sure! also try out the new zelda game, that was pretty awesome! Though you need motion plus for it. The other new super mario games were awesome too, and included multiplayer support for the family or friends!

Oh oh oh, and Xenoblade chronicles if you're into the RPG type of games. Man that game was awesome! I spent many an hour on it too

Also Pandora's tower and The Last Story. (Both also awesome RPG games)

Next i would go for Okami and the Metroid Prime games

And just to clarify on the Mario games, don't bother with the winter olympics or any of that crap

+1 for Okami. Awesome game that's truly suited to the Wii controller.

The Resident Evil 4 port is excellent, worth a play through even if youve played it previously
